Hello! I am Zufishan, an author based in the Bay Area, CA. I use they / them and ze / zir pronouns and I believe that diverse representation in kidlit can change lives.

I was accepted into the 2021 Author Mentor Match (AMM) program with my middle-grade manuscript, and am being mentored by Nia Davenport. My visual art has been part of a 2016 art show at the historic Red Victorian hotel in SF, and a 2019 non-profit pride-themed show at Urban University in Oakland.

I received an English Technical Writing degree with a minor in Creative Writing in 2016 from San Jose State University, and have since worked on my novels and art in my free time. I like to write stories with diverse protagonists in fantastical action packed adventure stories.

I live with my incorrigible cat and a dragon’s hoard of art supplies and books.
